As the Digital Editor/Copywriter, I oversaw, edited, and provided content for park newsletters with nearly 17 million subscribers. I also provided and edited content for Six Flags websites and coordinated with park marketing teams and corporate departments to provide content for online Pass Portals.

As the Marketing Manager, Member Experience, I developed and implemented marketing strategies for current members and volunteers at Girl Scouts of Western Ohio. This included membership renewal, product program, program events, outdoor program, highest awards, volunteer appreciation, and family giving, as well as overseeing the website and email marketing. I helped each team find the right mix of print, digital, video and other marketing techniques to accomplish their goal – while seeking ways to simplify and enhance the Girl Scout experience for our members.

• Evaluating and expanding content on the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio website using Adobe Experience Manager to provide the best user experience for parents, volunteers, staff, donors, and other stakeholders
• Collaborating with Recruitment, Program, Fund Development, and Volunteer HR teams to develop the best mix of print, digital, video, and other marketing techniques to accomplish their goals
• Presented about transitioning a successful in-person event into a virtual space during the 2021 Council Staff Summit for more than 300 people from Girl Scout councils around the country
Digital Marketing Manager - Girl Scouts of Western Ohio

In 2016, I joined the Marketing and Communications team at Girl Scouts of Western Ohio (GSWO) as the Digital Marketing Manager. GSWO serves more than 39,000 girls in a 32-county area throughout western Ohio and southeast Indiana, with the support of more than 11,000 dedicated volunteers.

• Working with multiple cross-functional teams to build a WordPress website showcasing Girl Scouts of Western Ohio camp properties and programs
• Reimagining and rebuilding the camp website as a home base for virtual summer camp in 2020, where we served more than 7,500 girls and expanded our national reach
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop more than 150 virtual programs for girls, parents, and volunteers during the COVID-19 pandemic, growing our Facebook presence by 42% and our YouTube presence by 339%
• Creating a 6-month series of emails welcoming new parents and caregivers to Girl Scouts of Western Ohio, segmenting information based on audience
• Collaborating with cross-functional departments to write and build welcome emails for six different audiences with helpful information for new members
• Writing, editing, and maintaining an editorial calendar for the GSWO Blog, with an overall focus on customer service to parents, caregivers, and volunteers

• Writing parody song for and project managing a $25k sing-a-long video to illustrate company culture to prospective employees and clients
• Redesigning website, transferring from Joomla to WordPress.org and reorganizing content to be more helpful for both clients and prospects
